“Soy AMMEF” is a medical-cultural journal of the Asociación Mexicana de Médicos en Formación, A.C. (AMMEF A.C.), aimed at medical students and physicians in training. Its editorial focus addresses global health, medical education and training, student leadership, ethics, social responsibility, as well as the dissemination of activities, projects, and initiatives carried out by the association and its local committees nationwide.

The journal seeks to serve as a platform for academic and cultural dissemination, as well as for critical and reflective expression, through the publication of opinion articles, essays, activity reports, and other content of interest to the medical community in training.

“Soy AMMEF” operates under an open access policy, providing immediate, free, and unrestricted access to all its contents, with no fees charged to readers or authors, in accordance with the principles of open knowledge dissemination.

The copyright of published works remains with the authors. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal permission to publish, reproduce, and disseminate their work through digital media for academic, cultural, and non-commercial purposes, with proper acknowledgment of authorship. The views expressed in published texts are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official position of AMMEF A.C.

Since its establishment, the journal has served as an institutional and academic-cultural communication channel of AMMEF A.C., contributing to the visibility of the association’s activities and to the strengthening of identity and engagement within the community of physicians in training in Mexico.
